Needs to be cleaned up - we could use pictures of the Rossi R92 (Repeater), CZ-527 (CR527), RG17 Derringer (Derringer), AK-74M (AK101), AK-74 (AK74), AKS-74U (AKS-74U), both Baikal MP-133 variants, and the static M134D miniguns that appear on the UH-1Y wrecks.--Sergeant Simpleton (talk) 22:28, 26 November 2014 (EST)

:The problem, really, is trying to find these guns. I've found a CZ, but most of these guns are crazy rare, along with the helicopter wrecks. In due time, though. Dannysaysnoo (talk) 20:41, 27 November 2014 (EST)

M56 SKS

I might be mistaken, but the SKS looks like a Yugo M56 with the GL leaf sight and compensator. AgentGumby (talk) 17:07, 6 February 2014 (EST)

You would be correct, I've updated it. Sergeant Simpleton (talk) 23:06, 6 February 2014 (EST)

Very low res photos

Don't expect those Blaser photos to linger for very long. They are, all things considered, tiny, and are a priority for replacement. Dannysaysnoo (talk) 17:48, 7 February 2014 (EST)

Obviously, but it's good for the time so anyone who visits the page can have a reference for what they are seeing (Some games drastically change the models of the guns, but it's still clear to some what they are based off of). I was just in a rush to get the weapon added to the page and very few screenshots actually existed when I posted this. Sergeant Simpleton (talk) 19:28, 7 February 2014 (EST)

FNP-45

Man, the FNP-45 Tactical looks waaaaaaaay too small; I have absolutely massive hands, and even then my FNX-45 still looks huge S&Wshooter (talk)

Alphabetization or release?

I'd much prefer the alphabetized system, but some people would find it easier to find newly updated weapons with the release system. Should we do release-based for now and then alphabetize after the game enters the full-version, or use either version permanently? Page navigation seems much better with alphabetization. --Sergeant Simpleton (talk) 19:12, 2 April 2014 (EDT)

We'll alphabetize on release. At that point, we'll know what's actually in the game, we'll no longer have to tack stuff on, and it'll look a bit neater. Dannysaysnoo (talk) 19:14, 2 April 2014 (EDT)
Ah, makes sense. They will probably add more content post-release but I guess that's a long way down the road and not a big concern for now. And while I'm at it, this new "P-38" they are seems to be a P-1 variant, not a P-38, but the resolution on the screenshots from Twitter were too low. http://www.dayztv.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/dayz-p38-in-game-model-320x180.jpg --Sergeant Simpleton (talk) 19:25, 2 April 2014 (EDT)

Thanks for the levity.

I always find pages that just list off items very boring. Even if they're really not that great, little stories and such to screenshots lend a personality to a page. Thanks for keeping this up, guys. :) Dannysaysnoo (talk) 18:01, 28 June 2014 (EDT)

Patch 0.47.124641 New weapons added

The newest stable patch has added the following weapons:

 • Makarov - Identified in-game as the .380 Baikel IJ-70 version
 • CZ 527 - Renamed CR 527 and chambered in 7,62x39mm, currently does not seem compatible with other scope types (possibility of having its own attachments which have not been added).
 • AK-101 - Apparently compatible with some AKM attachments (stocks, forends, optics)
 • PM-73 RAK - Chambered in .380

Draco122 (talk) 01:21, 31 July 2014 (EDT)

The problem with these guns being that their magazines don't spawn, except for the CZ, who's magazines only spawn in military zones. Dannysaysnoo (talk) 08:00, 31 July 2014 (EDT)

That is a long ass patch number. Spartan198 (talk) 22:15, 31 July 2014 (EDT)

Mosin 9130 Obrez - Separate Section

Should the new "Sawed-Off Mosin 9130" get it's own section? The Sawed-Off IZH-43 didn't, but sawed-off Mosin-Nagants are pretty commonly known as the Obrez (and this was added in separately to the Mosin 9130), so it may be worthwhile. If not, it should be put under the Mosin-Nagant M91/30 section. --Sergeant Simpleton (talk) 03:25, 14 August 2014 (EDT)

Don't give it's own section. Just seems like a waste of space for one picture. Dannysaysnoo (talk) 08:39, 14 August 2014 (EDT)
