Gang Related is a 1997 crime thriller starring James Belushi and Tupac Shakur as rogue detectives who find themselves in trouble after shooting a suspect who turned out to be an undercover agent. The film marked for the final role for Shakur, who was gunned down a year before the film's release.
The following weapons were used in the film Gang Related (1997):
Glock 17
Det. Jake Rodriguez (Tupac Shakur) carries a Glock 17 in a shoulder holster throughout the movie.
Smith & Wesson Model 629
Det. Frank Divinci (James Belushi) uses a Smith & Wesson Model 686 with 3" Barrel many times in the film.
