Krepkiy oreshek (literally means "a hard nut to crack") is a 1967 Soviet war comedy movie directed by Teodor Vulfovich. The story takes place in WWII on the Soviet-German front. A young lieutenant (Vitali Solomin) who wants to be a cavalryman is assigned to air defense, where only female soldiers serve. When the barrage balloon is torn off, he finds himself with his subordinate, who is in love with him, on an adventurous journey into the enemy rear.
