:Boirond's pistol has nothing common with any Tanfoglio pistol. It's definitely a Smith & Wesson, most likely a Smith & Wesson 39 or a Smith & Wesson 59, or maybe a nickel plated version of the same Smith & Wesson 639 that was used by the character in Les Ripoux. ::It is definitely a 39 or 59 as that adjustable rear sight is pretty distinctive and was only on the 1st generation models. I would also say that it is a 39, because from that rear view the frame appears to be the thickness of a single stack model.  --commando552 (talk) 20:13, 25 September 2014 (EDT)

To me this looks more like a standard sized P5, and not a Compact. The slide seems to be longer, especially in the 3rd image, PeeWee055 (talk) 02:40, 26 September 2014 (EDT)
