Invaders from Mars is the 1986 remake of the classic 1953 film of the same name. The film was directed by Tobe Hooper.
The following weapons were used in the film Invaders from Mars:
Colt Python
Chief Ward (Jimmy Hunt) and Officer Kenney (Kenneth Kimmins) carry Colt Pythons as their sidearms. They're seen holstered in several scenes, but only taken out when the two confront David and Linda in the school.
M1911
The US Marines, particularly General Climet Wilson (James Karen), Sergeant Rinaldi (Eric Pierpoint) and Captain Curtis (Christopher Allport), use M1911 sidearms. They're by the two Martian-controlled NASA technicians in Wilson's office.
M16A1
The M16A1 is the Marines' primary weapon. They're used extensively by Captain Curtis and his men during the climax of the film when they battle the Martians.
