The Killer Elite is a 1975 thriller directed by Sam Peckinpah and stars James Caan as Mike Locken, a covert operative with a mercenary organization that completes assignments for a mysterious communications corporation. After enduring a betrayal that left him disabled, Locken decides to recruit some of his former associates to take a job in order to exact revenge. The film co-stars Robert Duvall, Bo Hopkins, and Burt Young. Not to be confused with the 2011 Jason Statham thriller Killer Elite.

Handguns
Colt Woodsman
A suppressed Colt Woodsman is the main weapon used by George Hansen (Robert Duvall).
Smith & Wesson Model 10 Snub
Locken (James Caan) also carries the snub Smith & Wesson Model 10.
Colt Detective Special
During a confrontation with Hansen, Locken tries to reach for a Colt Detective Special.
Dan Wesson Model 15
A California Highway Patrolman pulls what appears to be a Dan Wesson Model 15 when stopping Mac's cab.
Colt M1911A1
A bright nickel Colt M1911A1 is carried by Mac (Burt Young).
Star Model B
Jerome shoots a uniformed SFPD officer who was armed with a Star Model B pistol. When Locken asks why he did that, Jerome identifies the handgun as a "9 millimeter Star" and says that SFPD only packs "regulation Smith & Wesson .38's".
Submachine Guns
(Fake) Uzi (mocked up MAC-10)
Jerome Miller (Bo Hopkins) is seen using a MAC-10 that has been visually modified to resemble the Uzi. The SMG is fitted with Uzi barrels, front and rear sights, and a folding stock. This was one of the earliest films to use this particular type of mockup, and similar prop weapons were used in several other Hollywood movies, including The Dogs of War and Stripes.

Unmodified MAC-10's are seen used by Mike Locken (James Caan) and Jerome Miller (Bo Hopkins).
Madsen M50
A hitman uses a Madsen M50 when he and Hansen open fire on Locken and his men.

Armalite AR7
During the Chinatown shootout, Hansen uses an Armalite AR-7 fitted with a wooden rifle stock, a suppressor, and a scope.
Heckler & Koch G3
Hitman are armed with the Heckler & Koch G3 during the harbor shootout.
