::::Almost certain that is the same 3904, the mag looks like a skinny single stack which is correct, and am pretty sure it doesn't have the double stack frame. If the image was a bit brighter you would be able to tell for sure, as the double stack 5906/5904 mags have an indent on each side at the bottom of the magazines to keep the compressed spring centred in the wider body, which is not necessary on the narrower 3906/3904 mags. I cant find a pic of a 3904 magazine, but if you google a 909 magazine it is the same, but is blued and lacks the hole for the 9th round (they are exactly the same size, S&W had just realised by this point that a 9th would fit in). --[[User:Commando552|commando552]] ([[User talk:Commando552|talk]]) 05:37, 26 August 2014 (EDT) | ::::Almost certain that is the same 3904, the mag looks like a skinny single stack which is correct, and am pretty sure it doesn't have the double stack frame. I'm gonna go ahead and change the listing to a 3904. I'm sure that an actual gun page/listing is being worked on but for the time being I'm also gonna post up that 3904 image somewhere in the S&W stuff (probably on the S&W main page's talk page, where there are several images of other guns without actual gun pages for them). Discussion
Unknown Pistol
Pretty sure this is a Ruger KP89, because that's what he is later seen carrying during a flashback in Season 4. -MT2008 (talk) 17:55, 26 July 2014 (EDT)
- Well, I normally wouldn't like going by a flashback, as those aren't always accurate or reliable in terms of listing for other episodes/seasons - That said, at least it's something, and I really see no reason to not go with that ID, it does look like a Ruger as much as anything else, barring a more positive ID, seems a reasonable enough guess actually. I'll change that section in due course. Thanks BTW for the help on the Beretta blank-gun entry - I had thought it might be something of that sort but wasn't sure, so thanks for that. StanTheMan (talk) 16:05, 4 August 2014 (EDT)
- Update - Thanks to the HD image provided by Ben, the gun appears to have a stainless trigger guard, which the Ruger doesn't have. Ben suggested a Smith & Wesson 5906, which, given the general look of what we can see, included the squared trigger guard, I'm inclined to agree with. StanTheMan (talk) 22:13, 18 August 2014 (EDT)
Tranquilliser Rifle
I'm fairly sure this isn't the Anschtuz, as from the front view you can see what appears to be the chamber for a CO2 cartridge. My guess si that it is a Palmer Cap-Chur Long Range Projector, as this has the tube under the barrel for the CO2 cartridges, there is that nob a couple of inches in front of the trigger guard, and what appears to be a pair of bolt handles (not sure why it has two, I think the bottom one might be something to do with piercing the CO2 cartridges to charge the rifle, or possibly the bottom one is for cocking whilst the top is simply for loading a dart). The square end to front of the stock is also seen on some Palmer rifles, not so much the current stock image but it looks like a match for this one:

S&W 5904
Looking at it now (especially with Ben's somewhat better images), it doesn't seem to have the frame bulge of the hi-cap 5904. Given that we have just figured out the 5904 in Season 2 is actually a 3904, could this also be a 3904 (possibly even the same gun)? StanTheMan (talk) 14:30, 22 August 2014 (EDT)
- I agree, it looks this is the same 3904 seen in Season 2. Can't tell for sure, but it would make sense. Anyone know what a 3904 mag looks like? That would be one way to tell, because his fingers are covering up the frame and making it hard to tell whether it's a single- or double-stack frame. -MT2008 (talk) 13:38, 25 August 2014 (EDT)
- The first image doesn't show the frame bulge, however it is a bit blurry. That said, in the second image, neither the grip nor the mag looks fat enough, the mag especially doesn't seem wide enough to be a double-stack mag, and I would assume the 3904 uses a single-stack. Wouldn't swear to that though. StanTheMan (talk) 21:57, 25 August 2014 (EDT)
- Well, I suppose that is enough evidence to label it a 3904. Alternately, we could use the heading "Smith & Wesson 3904/5904" and explain our confusion. I watched this episode on Netflix, and unfortunately, the gun is never shown clearly enough to make a definite ID through visual evidence alone. But this is a case where common sense can be our guide. -MT2008 (talk) 22:57, 25 August 2014 (EDT)

Original page Content
The following firearms were used in Season 1 of the televsion series "The X-Files."
Pistols
Bernardelli Model 60
From the pilot episode until episode 1.06 "Ghost In The Machine" Agent Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) carried a Bernardelli Model 60 .32 ACP pocket pistol. It is a single action straight blowback weapon with a frame-mounted manual safety. The Model 60 was introduced in 1959, the magazine release is located at the butt of the pistol grip. It features a "VB" logo (Vincenzo Bernardelli) on the left grip. Scully's Model 60 has brown grips.
Glock 19
After a few episodes in the first season, Mulder switched to a Glock 19, which he used for the remaining episodes of the season (from episode 1.05 "Shadows" until episode 1.23 "The Erlenmeyer Flask"). It is a second generation Glock 19, identified by the checkering on the front and rear straps of the pistol grip. In episode 1.20 "Tooms" Mulder lost the Glock in a narrow escalator maintenance tunnel. Glock 19s were also carried by some of the elite soldiers in Episode 1.09, "Fallen Angel", though they never fired their weapons (the invisible alien fried them all with its heat weapon before they could).
Manurhin PPK (Walther clone)
For a lot of the first season, Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) carried a Manurhin PPK .32 ACP (a French clone made under the license of Walther).
Scully carried the PPK from episode 1.07 "Ice" until episode 1.23 "The Erlenmeyer Flask". In episode 1.09 "Fallen Angel" the Manurhin PPK had a misfeed, perhaps because Scully didn't rack the slide with enough fervor.
Taurus PT92
At the beginning of the first season (Pilot until episode 1.04 "The Jersey Devil"), FBI Special Agent Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) used a Taurus PT92. Mulder fired the Taurus only once in episode 1.03 "Conduit" to chase away a pack of wolves. PT92s also appeared in several other episodes from the first season.
Rifles
Colt Model 733 Commando
Several episodes in Season 1 feature appearances of Colt Model 733 "Commandos", usually in the hands of military personnel and SWAT officers. There's a great close-up of this gun in the second episode, "Deep Throat". This is not a Model 733, the barrel is an inch too short. The barrel does not extend much past the front sight.
Diemaco C7/Colt Model 715
Because the show was initially filmed in Canada, many of the M16-type rifles in the early season were Diemaco C7s, or, more likely, the Olympic Arms K4B equivalent, which seems to be favored by the Canadian armorers. These weapons appeared in the hands of U.S. military personnel as an M16A2 stand-in, particularly in the Season 1 episodes "Deep Throat" and "Fallen Angel".
Mossberg 500 'Cruiser'
Pistol-gripped Mossberg 500 Cruisers are seen used by some police and government agents.
