The following firearms were seen in The Night of the Generals:

German soldiers in Warsaw and Paris are seen with the MP40.
Karabiner 98k
A few German soldiers are seen with the Karabiner 98k.
Beretta 418
General Wilhelm Tanz (Peter O'Toole) uses what appears to be a Beretta 418 in one scene in Paris.
Walther PPK
When in uniform, Tanz's (Peter O'Toole) sidearm is a Walther PPK. He uses it to kill Colonel Grau (Omar Sharif).
Makarov PM
When the German police come for him, Tanz (Peter O'Toole) requests the sidearm of a subordinate. He uses it to commit suicide. The gun, seen briefly, appears to be a Makarov PM.
