In "Pilot" (S1E01), Det. Ryan Lopez (Ramon Rodriguez) is given a Kimber SIS pistol that he carries throughout the series. The SIS pistol also is carried by Sam Chapel (Terry O'Quinn). In "Pilot" (S1E01), Chapel identifies the pistol as a "Kimber 1911". This particular model was originally manufactured for members of the LAPD's Special Investigation Section.
The Glock 17 is the original sidearm of Det. Ryan Lopez before he switches to the Kimber. The Glock is the sidearm of FBI Special Agent Tae Kim (Sung Kang) and ICE Agent Veronica "Vee" Dotsen (Inbar Lavi).
A Remington 870 shotgun fitted with a pistol grip, breaching muzzle, and saddle shell holder is used by members of the Gang Task Force to breach locked doors.
