State Affairs (Une affaire d'état) is a 2009 French political thriller directed by Eric Valette ("Braquo"). A plane carrying weapons exploding above the Guinean Gulf. At the same time thousands of miles away in the Paris underground garage is murdered model. What connects these events? The investigation of this murder is in charge a young inspector, woman of African origin. With his unconventional working style is embarking untwisting threads of power leading to the highest levels of French politics and business. Starring Rachida Brakni, André Dussollier and Thierry Frémont.
