Flyboys (2006)
The following weapons were used in the film Flyboys:
The Germans use air-cooled Maxim LMG 08/15 machine guns on their Fokker DR-1 triplanes. Beagle tells the other airmen that they are "9 mm Spandaus", which is incorrect as they are actually the standard German 7.92x57 mm Mauser ammunition.
The Lafayette Escadrille pilots are given Mle 1892 Revolvers as last-ditch suicide weapons by Cassidy (Martin Henderson). Blaine Rawlings (James Franco) notably uses it during his dogfight with the "Black Falcon". This revolver also is seen in the hands of James Franco in the subsequent film This Is the End.
