The following weapons were used in Season 1 of the television series Defiance
Handguns Futuristic Pistol A custom futuristic pistol is used by the main character of the series, Joshua Nolan (Grant Bowler ). The weapon appears to be based on an actual firearm, with cases being ejected when it is fired and the back portion of the weapon moving back and forth due to a slide moving underneath. It also appears to have two barrels, but the purpose of this is unknown. As the whole weapon is covered with a futuristic shell, it is not possible to identify what the real world weapon underneath is. Also of note is that in-universe, it's listed as an example of Po'Tech , "old Earth technology that’s been cobbled together or jury rigged," making it a homebrew weapon.
