The following firearms can be seen in The Train(1964):
MP 40 Submachine Gun
Both the German Army and the French Resistance use the MP40 throughout the movie. Labiche (Burt Lancaster) uses it during a nightime raid and at the end when he confronts Colonel von Waldheim (Paul Scofield).
Mauser 98k Rifle
It appears that both the German Army and the French resistance use the Mauser 98K Rifle throughout the movie.
MG42 Machinegun
The German Army uses the MG42 throughout the movie.
Maxim MG08 Machine Gun
It appears at the beginning of the movie the German sentries outside of the museum have a Maxim MG08 Machine Gun.The lighting is not very good unfortunately.
Luger P08
Colonel von Waldheim (Paul Scofield) carries what appears to be a Luger P08. He very briefly attempts to pull it when Major Herren (Wolfgang Preiss) countermands one of his orders, but he never gets it out of the holster before Herren grabs his wrist and restrains him.
Beretta M1934
Pilzer (Arthur Brauss) uses a Beretta M1934 to shoot a young French Resistance member during the fake air raid blackout. It's only seen very briefly in the darkened train station before Labiche (Burt Lancaster) kills him.
