The following weapons were used in the film PTU:
Pistols
Norinco Type 54
Two Norinco Type 54 pistols (Chinese-made versions of the Tokarev TT-33) are used by robbers during the final shootout on Canton Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong. However, during the finale, a continuity error occurs as the Type 54 changes into a Browning Hi-Power.
Revolvers

Multiple Smith & Wesson Model 10HB were used by uniformed HKPF PTU officers and PTU Sergeant (Simon Yam) as their main sidearm.
Smith & Wesson Model 36
The Smith & Wesson Model 36 .38 Special is the standard sidearm of the Hong Kong police plaincloth detectives in the movie (standing in for the Colt Detective Special).
Airsoft Smith & Wesson Model 36
After losing his Smith & Wesson Model 36 .38 Special, Detective Sha (Suet Lam) goes to an airsoft shop to buy an airsoft Smith & Wesson Model 36. He holsters the airsoft pistol throughout the movie to hide the fact that he has lost his live-firing standard issue Model 36.
