Fort Saganne is a 1984 French war film directed by Alain Corneau on based a novel of the same name by Louis Gardel. Story of the young officer-volunteer in the Sahara, who in 1911 leads a valliant defense against Sultan Omar. Starring Gérard Depardieu, Philippe Noiret, Catherine Deneuve, and Sophie Marceau.
