In this remake of a 1943 classic starring James Belushi the following guns were used.
(pictures are coming up)
Thompson M1928A1
Thompson is used by the Allied troops.
Thompson M1928
Interestingly, Thompson M1928 is also used in the movie. Not very frequent in war movies, this submachine gun gained its notoriety through gangster movies (Usual 50-round drum here was, of course, replaced by a 20-round stock magazine)
German commanding officer executes the proclaimed traitor]]
Browning M1919
Unmounted from the tank Browning M1919 contributes a lot in the fight against the Germans. While, mostly used by Tambul (Robert Wisdom), it is later picked by Sgt. Gunn.
Bren LMG
British Allies have a number of Bren guns used consequently by different soldiers.
Lee Enfield
Sergeant-major Tambul (Robert Wisdon) of the Sudanese Army carries Lee Enfield with bayonet.
Mauser Karabiner 98k
Standard weapon of German infantryman during World War II, known to be Hitler's favorite rifle. Most Germans are armed with this 1898 Mauser Carbine.
Gewehr 43
While Gewehr 43 is not really used in the movie, at least one of the soldiers is carrying it. The appearance of this gun is an anachronism: action takes place in 1942, while Gewehr was not manufactured until 1943 (no brainer).
MP40
Many German soldiers carry MP40. Some are later collected by the Allies to replenish their firepower.
MG 42
Germans have few MG-42s. One is later unmounted from the half-track by the Allies and used against Germans.
Colt M1911A
Sergeant Gunn's sidearm.
Luger P08
Sidearm of the German pilot gunned down by Sgt. Gunn.
Walther P38
Sidearm of the German commanding officer, which he uses to execute the soldier who gave up Gunn information about the German forces. Later, LaRoux takes it away after stabbing the officer and shoots German soldier who accompanied the officer to the negotiations.
Webley Mk IV
Sidearm of Captain Halliday.
Model 24 Stielhandgranate
Standard grenade of the German Army in World War II.
