Was watching the pilot episode "Encounter at Farpoint" on Netflix the other day, and saw the soldiers Q manifested during the 'trial' set in Earth's 21st century. The soldiers were armed with fictional automatic weapons mounted on their forearms. While these were clearly props, they generated muzzle flashes and the sound effects used when they are fired and cocked indicated that they were meant to be comparable to present-day, real-world automatic weapons. I was wondering if these weapons would merit inclusion in the article since they are meant to represent projectile weapons, despite their purely fictional nature. 21st-century wrist guns?

Was watching the pilot episode "Encounter at Farpoint" on Netflix the other day, and saw the soldiers Q manifested during the 'trial' set in Earth's 21st century. The soldiers were armed with fictional automatic weapons mounted on their forearms. While these were clearly props, they generated muzzle flashes and the sound effects used when they are fired and cocked indicated that they were meant to be comparable to present-day, real-world automatic weapons. I was wondering if these weapons would merit inclusion in the article since they are meant to represent projectile weapons, despite their purely fictional nature.
