Men of War (Russian: В тылу врага 2: Лис пустыни, or Behind Enemy Lines 2: Desert Fox) is a 2009 real-time tactics video game. Players issue orders to and/or take direct control of soldiers on a simulation-driven battlefield. The game takes place during World War II and its single-player campaign features battles set in Europe, the Soviet Union, Greece, and North Africa across three different campaigns for the Allies, Germans and Soviets. Japan was introduced as a multiplayer faction in a patch. Not to be confused with the Perry Lang's action film Men of War .
On November 1, 2009,a sequel called Men of War: Red Tide (Russian: Черные бушлаты) was released, featuring several Campaigns about Soviet Naval Infantry(Marine Corp) of the Black Sea Fleet. The arsenals of two more countries, Italy and Romania.But no multiplayer and editor.
On February 25, 2011,a stand-alone expansion pack called Men of War: Assault Squad (Developed by Digitalmindsoft) was released,featuring more amall arms and high quality weapon model.This expansion pack focus on multiplayer game.
On September 9, 2011,a sequel called Men of War: Vietnam was released,featuring 2 campaigns about Vietnam war and Vietnam war era weapons.
On April 12, 2012,a sequel called Men of War: Condemned Heroes was released,several Campaigns about infamous Soviet "Penal battalions" and high quality Human model.
