The Commander is a german-italian production from 1988, starring Lewis Collins, Lee Van Cleef and Donald Pleasence. "Major" Jack Colby (Collins) is sent to Bangkok to form a group of mercenaries. They are ordered to deal with the warlord General Dong, who drives up drug prices in the "Golden Triangle". But Colby is double crossed by his sponsors.
