Beretta M92FS

As in the other films, Detective Martin Riggs (Mel Gibson) carries a Beretta M92FS pistol as his standard weapon. At one point Riggs uses his Beretta to demonstrate the lethality of the armor-piercing rounds being used by the villains, penetrating a police-issue bulletproof vest with one shot. Berettas can also be seen being carried by Sergeant Lorna Cole (Rene Russo) and a young patrolman who is fatally wounded by the villains' armor-piercing ammo which renders the body armor he was wearing useless.

Smith & Wesson Model 19

As in the other films, Detective Roger Murtaugh (Danny Glover) can be seen carrying a Smith & Wesson Model 19 as his standard weapon, though does supplement it with a semi-auto pistol as a backup, as mentioned below.

Smith & Wesson 5906

As a backup to his usual revolver, Murtaugh can be seen using a Smith & Wesson 5906 pistol, most notably when engaging in a shootout with a group of gangbangers. He also carries it in lieu of his Model 19 when he and Riggs are busted to Patrolmen following a bomb incident at the start of the film, and has an accidental discharge while holstering his weapon, nearly shooting himself.

Heckler & Koch P9S

At one point, Riggs and Murtaugh go to visit Murtaugh's daughter Rianne (Traci Wolfe) at her job, though Murtaugh fails to tell Riggs that her job is as an actress in a movie, and when Riggs sees an actor holding Rianne at gunpoint he charges in and tackles him, disarming him of his rubber Heckler & Koch P9S, though is quickly informed by Rianne that she wasn't in any real danger.

Heckler & Koch MP5K

There are several appearances in the film of the Heckler & Koch MP5K, first seen being fired out a car window by one of the gang bangers Murtaugh encounters, then by former officer Jack Travis (Stuart Wilson) during a high-speed chase with Riggs. Some of Travis' henchmen can also be seen firing them during the final battle, among other weapons.

Walther PPK

When the protagonists track Travis to a sports arena, Leo Getz (Joe Pesci) chases Travis onto the ice of an in-progress hockey game. During the scuffle between the two, Travis pulls out a Walther PPK and fires at Leo, wounding him and escaping. Although a minor injury, Riggs and Murtaugh decieve him into thinking it's a more serious wound in order to relieve themselves of his distracting presence.

MAC-10

When Murtaugh engages the gang bangers, one of them opens fire on him with a MAC-10, spraying and praying in an ultimately futile effort to take out the veteran cop. Upon discovering that the youth wielding it was a friend of his son, Murtaugh goes on a personal mission to find the ones responsible for giving him the illegal weapon. He also uses it to ignite a trail of gasoline spread by Riggs throughout the housing development during the final battle, and tosses the MAC-10, loaded with armor-piercing bullets, to Riggs who uses it to kill Travis who is trying to run him down with a backhoe loader, the powerful rounds able to pierce the dozer blade that was impervious to normal bullets.

When learning the history of the Darryl's MAC-10, it is said that it had a 36-round magazine. They make 32-round magazines and 50-round magazines, but not 36.

Ruger Mini-14

Unknown Revolver

During the final battle at the housing development, Travis can be seen using a large-frame revolver of unknown make and model loaded with armor-piercing ammo to shoot Sgt. Cole several times. Thankfully Lorna had worn two vests instead of one, so was saved from being killed by the powerful rounds, but was still seriously wounded.

Beretta Inox

Following the failed armored van robbery, Travis confronts the robber that managed to escape, one of his men pistol-whipping him with a Beretta Inox, stunning him and leaving him unable to escape as he's buried alive in concrete.

Smith & Wesson 5904

During the armored van robbery, Billy Phelps (Mark Pellegrino), the robber driving the van, pulls out a Smith & Wesson 5904 while fighting with Riggs, but never gets the chance to fire the weapon. It's later revealed that the pistol was loaded with armor-piercing bullets.
