V/H/S/2 is a 2013 anthology horror film and a sequel to 2012's V/H/S. Although the film itself is split into 5 different shorts, the central plot centers around two private investigators, Larry (Lawrence Michael Levine) and Ayesha (Kelsy Abbott), as they investigate the mysterious disappearance of a college student named Kyle (L.C. Holt). As they enter his house, they discover a large stack of TV sets, VCRs, and the plot device(s), a stack of VHS tapes, all containing macabre and paranormal recordings of death, ranging from ghost activity to alien abduction.
All the segments in the film are shot in low-quality, to mimic the found-footage effect seen in The Blair Witch Project. Unlike it's predecessor, which featured no firearms, V/H/S/2 includes firearms in every segment, with the exception of "Phase I Clinical Trials".
The following weapons were used in the film V/H/S/2:
Handguns
Glock 17
The Glock 17 is used by various cult members in the "Safe Haven" segment, especially in the scene where several members commit cult suicide using Glock 17s.
Unidentified handgun
While hiding in the closet from the re-animated corpse of Ayesha, Larry readies his pistol, which appears to lack iron sights, but that could be due to the film's "found-footage" quality, and the fact that he's hiding in a dark closet while readying his weapon.
Revolvers
Smith & Wesson Model 15
During the final scene of the movie, Larry views the last part of Kyle's (the missing student) video log, in which he holds up a revolver, most likely a Smith & Wesson Model 15 revolver, to shoot himself in the head and become an undead creature as a result of the anomaly caused by the VHS tape's powers.
Shotguns
Ithaca 37 "Stakeout"
After witnessing the cult suicide in "Safe Haven", one of the cameramen encounters two additional cult members, one unarmed, and the gunman wielding a Ithaca 37 "Stakeout". The gunman proceeds to take aim, accidentally killing his fellow cultist in the process and injures the cameraman with a follow-up round. The weapon is later used by the same cameraman, who slayed the gunman with his own weapon in a struggle, only to get incapacitated by two additional cult members.
Winchester Model 1200
During the later half of the events seen in the "A Ride in the Park" segment, a survivor at the birthday party defends himself from the infected hikers with what appears to be a Winchester Model 1200 with forest camouflage, only to end up getting killed by a third zombie. The infected biker (the protagonist in the segment) later commits suicide with the same weapon after he regains part of his humanity.
