Michael Clayton is the 2008 thriller starring George Clooney as a "fixer" for a high-priced law firm who finds himself conflicted when his mentor has a breakdown and threatens to blow the whistle on one of the firm's top clients. The film marked the directorial debut of Tony Gilroy, who also wrote the film and was a screenwriter on the first three Jason Bourne films. He also was the writer/director of The Bourne Legacy.
