:I'm not sure about a weapon firing shot instead of slugs or cartridges, but I do know of one experimental version of the [[Sturmgewehr 44]] the Nazi's toyed with that had a barrel with a 90-degree bend, the idea being to allow soldiers to shoot around corners without having to expose themselves to enemy fire. I'm not sure about a weapon firing shot instead of slugs or cartridges, but I do know of one experimental version of the Sturmgewehr 44 the Nazi's toyed with that had a barrel with a 90-degree bend, the idea being to allow soldiers to shoot around corners without having to expose themselves to enemy fire.
