At the episode's beginning, A future version of Claire (Hayden Panettiere) uses it to try to shoot Future Peter (Milo Ventimiglia), who freezes time and takes it from her, then uses it to shoot Nathan (Adrian Pasdar), then stashes it. When he comes back later to retrieve it Matt has it and he confronts Peter about it.
