:By the way, I have a little trick for making lots of little formatting changes quickly, I copy and paste the article text into Notepad, search for the item I want to change (like, say: "=="), and use Replace All to insert the new item in its place (in this case, "==="). So don't worry about that, I'm willing to change it back if you really think I should. --MattyDienhoff (talk) 01:29, 7 January 2014 (EST) | :By the way, I have a little trick for making lots of little formatting changes quickly, I copy and paste the article text into Notepad, search for the item I want to change (like, say: "=="), and use Replace All to insert the new item in its place (in this case, "==="). :::I see! Thanks for directing me to that, it'll be very helpful. I was honestly not aware there was a style guide, I can't find any mention of it in the rules, so I was using other articles (this one in particular, which uses level 3 headers) for reference on style and layout. I'll change back to level 2 headers, I'm sure it'll look better once I've filled them all out with images, anyway. --MattyDienhoff (talk) 01:41, 7 January 2014 (EST) |

Talk Page
Well, that would just take up more server space by adding another page. I think I'm going to shave off some of the comments and make the page smaller, but I don't think I need to create an archive for them. Thanks for the suggestion though. - Gunmaster45
Aussie Gun Laws
It's a shame that the gun laws down under are so damned strict. It must be hard for a gun nut to live over there-S&Wshooter
- Yeah, indeed. :( --MattyDienhoff 09:49, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
Operation Flashpoint
Operation Flashpoint has to be the best video game page here. Good work with the screenshots.--SB2296 16:27, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
- The MP5SD3 is actually a MP5SD-N1 which is noted by its Navy trigger group.--SB2296 16:41, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
- As you can see the difference between a SEF trigger group and a Navy trigger group is the presence of bullet pictograms(as seen in MP5A4/A5) on the latter one, which IS the case in OFP.--SB2296 09:36, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
Zombies Wiki
Are you the same user on the Zombies Wiki? The reason why I asked is because the MattyDeinhoff on the Zombies Wiki uploaded firearm pictures from Imfdb and those pictures are only authorized for Imfdb according to MoviePropMaster2008. - Kenny99 14:21, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, that's me. I was at the time under the impression that images uploaded to wikis were in the public domain (as they often are in Wikimedia commons). This is a completely different website, I know, but I didn't put very much thought into it at the time, beyond providing credit. That's stupid and is no excuse, I know, but that's what I was thinking at the time. I'll propose them for deletion on copyright grounds. I apologize for using them without permission, it was foolish and rude. :( --MattyDienhoff 19:06, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
- Wow. Thank you Kenny99 for watching my back. :) Thank you MattyDienhoff for being such a gentleman and a man of honor :) MoviePropMaster2008 05:01, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory
Since that it's just an expansion pack, go ahead and add the new weapons of Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. - Kenny99 05:02, 15 February 2011 (UTC)
Categorize your images, please
Please, don't forget to put (or simply SS template) on every screenshot that you upload, and PCA on posters and covers. Greg-Z (talk) 02:16, 6 January 2014 (EST)
- Sorry about that, I should've examined the rules more closely. Thanks for setting me straight! --MattyDienhoff (talk) 02:25, 6 January 2014 (EST)
State of Decay
You were actually correct the first time regarding level 2 headings. I'd roll it back, but you added a lot of stuff along with the formatting changes. --Funkychinaman (talk) 21:04, 6 January 2014 (EST)
- Technically yes, since going from level one to two is the logical progression, I'm just trying it this way for appearance reasons. Due to the sheer number of entries, I think it looks better without all the extra dividing lines that were present when I used level two headings. The table of contents still works as intended, is there another reason it shouldn't be done this way?
- By the way, I have a little trick for making lots of little formatting changes quickly, I copy and paste the article text into Notepad, search for the item I want to change (like, say: "=="), and use Replace All to insert the new item in its place (in this case, "==="). So don't worry about that, I'm willing to change it back if you really think I should. --MattyDienhoff (talk) 01:29, 7 January 2014 (EST)
- That IS the established standard as defined in the IMFDB Style Guide. --Funkychinaman (talk) 01:31, 7 January 2014 (EST)
