Rampart is a 2011 crime drama starring Woody Harrelson as a brutal LAPD officer who struggles to keep his career when he is caught on tape beating a suspect and then becomes involved in an unexpected homicide. Set during the time of the Rampart scandal in Los Angeles, the film was based on a story by James Ellroy (L.A. Confidential).
