Puppet Master is a 1989 horror film from Full Moon Productions and the first instalment in their now-eponymous Puppet Master franchise. The film follows a team of psychic investigators inside the abandoned Bodega Bay Inn, where the last known alchemist, a man named Andre Toulon who could bring his handmade puppets to life, was killed in 1939. The psychics find that Toulon's puppets are far from gone as they begin to pick off the investigators one by one.
Originally intended for a theatrical release, Full Moon opted to instead release Puppet Master as a direct-to-video film, where it quickly gathered a strong cult following and remains one of Full Moon's most popular home video titles.
The following weapons were used in the film Puppet Master:
Luger P08
The Nazis that arrive at the Bodega Bay Inn in 1939 to assassinate Andre Toulon are armed with Luger P08 pistols. Another P08 is seen in the hands of Neil Gallagher (Jimmie F, Skaggs) during one of Alex Whitaker's (Paul Le Mat) visions.
Smith & Wesson .44 Double Action
When he realizes that the Nazi assassins are coming for him, Andre Toulon (William Hickey) hides his puppets, then retrieves a nickel-plated Smith & Wesson .44 Double Action revolver from his work table and waits for them to arrive.
