Earthquake is a 1974 American disaster film that dramatizes the effects of a devastating earthquake upon the city of Los Angeles. The film was released during the Hollywood wave of disaster-theme films and released with a unique sound design known as "Sensurround", which allowed movie audiences to experience a simulated earthquake in their seats. The cast included Charlton Heston, Lorne Greene, and George Kennedy.
