Phil Spector is a 2013 HBO dramatization of the events surrounding the trial of record producer Phil Spector, who was held responsible for the shooting of a woman in his residence. The film was written and directed by David Mamet and stars Al Pacino as Phil Spector and Helen Mirren as Spector's lawyer Linda Kenney Baden. The film specifically states that the film is not based on a true story, but was a drama inspired by actual persons.
