Revision as of 02:37, 17 January 2009
The following guns are used in the television show Flashpoint
Warning: Some descriptions contain spoilers. Information is destined to change and add on as the show progresses.
- Since Season 2 began, I'm working on screencapping from CBS.com now. - Gunmaster45
Remington 700PSS
Snipers Ed Lane, Juliana, and Sam Braddock use Remington 700PSS rifles chambered in .308 caliber(Despite their stock slung ammo being .300 Win Mag) and they are fitted with scopes with false reticules.
Luger P08
The hostage taker in the first episode shoots a woman in the back with a Luger P08 and holds another woman at gunpoint with it before being shot by Ed Lane's sniper rifle.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
Sgt. Gregory Parker regularly has two or more officers armed with H&K MP5A3s with tri-rails and forward grips at his side. Several other officers use them as well. Many of them appear to have Navy trigger grouping.
Glock 17
Glock 17s are the issued sidearms of the team through season 1.
M4A1
Several officers use M4A1 carbine assault rifles as standard-issue weapons. Juliana uses one in the second episode to watch over a father with a gun in the hospital. It is fitted with a red-dot sight but when she looks through it, it incorrectly has a sniper reticule instead. By episode seven, just about all the main officers have used M4A1s. The props weapons used are not the similar Canadian-made Diemaco C8 carbine, which would be more appropriate for a Canadian SWAT team to use, since Diemaco (now Colt Canada) does not sell its weapons to civilian companies (including the armorers who worked on the show).
Smith & Wesson 5904
When a man becomes enraged that his daughter can't get a new heart, he draws a Smith & Wesson 5904 off a hospital guard and begins a standoff. He accidentally scores a non-fatal shot on an officer after less lethal is ordered to stop him when he reveals the safety is on, and then turns it off and hits an officer's vest.
Taurus Judge .410/.45 LC
In the 3rd episode dialogue, this revolver Kennon carried is called the "Jury", street name. "Takes 5 rounds, shotgun, single bore." Exact lines. It is actually a Taurus Judge firing the very slim .410 shotgun round and can also accept .45 LC rounds.
Smith & Wesson 5906
In the 4th episode, a S&W 5906 with a rounded trigger guard (yes, they can have different trigger guards and be the same model) was used by the outraged woman, Rebecca Kessfield (Chandra West).
Deftech/Federal Labs Revolving Launcher
The 6 shot 40mm Deftech rotarary grenade launcher for Law enforcement first seen in episode 4 is used by Sam Braddock. Wasn't fired.
Beretta 92FS
A Beretta 92FS is used by the bank robber in episode 5.
Smith & Wesson Model 36
Seen in episode 6 owned by a female gang member, taken by an innocent that was bullied and used against them.
Unknown old fashion revolver
In episode 7. A boy took out an old revolver that according to dialogue was carried by his great-grand father and his grandfather. So we can assume it's an old piece. Maybe a Single Action Army or something like that.
- Not an SAA, I don't see an ejector piece.
- From the looks of the first picture, it looks to me like a S&W model 3 revolver.
- This series takes place in Canada and the father says that it was taken ashore at Juno beach on D-day, so what did the Canadians use as a sidearm in WWII? Webley?
SIG-Sauer P226
Used in episode 6 owned by the leader of the group of female gang.
Federal M201-Z Grenade Launcher
Breach loading grenade launcher with a full stock and pistol grip used in episode 7.
CornerShot with Glock attachment
Seen being used by Ed Lane in episode 9 "Planets Aligned", attached with an ACOG sight. It looks like a Glock is attached to the end.
- Actually according to the shot changes, it appears that Ed started off with a cornershot without the ACOG and then at then end it had an ACOG attached. Why a short range weapon like that would have a scope attached to it inside a CQB area is beyond me.
Remington 870
Seen in episode 9 to use as a door breaching weapon.
