Why such a flash is produced by Nagant? I mean, on the sides of cylinder. It used to be sealed shut during the shot to avoid pressure loss and, therefore, propel bullet at much higher speed. But there, it looks like gas sealing isn't working. Or could it be not Nagant?

Why such a flash is produced by Nagant? I mean, on the sides of cylinder. It used to be sealed shut during the shot to avoid pressure loss and, therefore, propel bullet at much higher speed. But there, it looks like gas sealing isn't working. Or could it be not Nagant?
