Human Target - Season 1: Difference between revisions
Human Target was a television action series that was based on a DC Comics character created by Len Wein and Carmine Infantino. Mark Valley starred as Christopher Chance, a unique security contractor whose unique way of protecting his clients was by completely integrating himself in their lives and thus himself becoming the target. The series aired for two seasons on FOX from 2010-2011 and co-starred Chi McBride and Jackie Earle Haley.
The following weapons appear in the television series Human Target:
Christopher Chance's (Mark Valley) sidearm in Season 1 is the Walther P99. In scenes in "Pilot" (S1E01) and "Christopher Chance" (S1E12), Chance's P99AS changes to a pre-2004 P99. In "Sanctuary" (S1E04), Sam Fisher (William Mapother) uses a Walther P99 during the monastery invasion. Frank Murphy uses Chance's P99 in "Run" (S1E05). A South American soldier surrenders his P99 to his CO in "Salvage and Reclamation". An animated P99 is also portrayed in the opening credits of the show.
Walther P99AS (Anti-Stress)
Occasionally throughout the series, Chance's standard P99 changes to a Walther P99AS. In "Pilot" (S1E01), Christopher Chance (Mark Valley) uses a Walther P99AS for most of the episode. In a scene in "Run" (S1E05), Chance's standard P99 changes to a P99AS. In the shootout between Chance and Baptiste during "Christopher Chance" (S1E12), Chance again uses the Walther P99AS. Judging by the extended barrel, silver recoil rod (in "Christopher Chance"), and lack of slide blowback, these are likely airsoft replicas (most likely made by Umarex).
Two-Tone
In 'Baptiste' and 'Christopher Chance', Baptiste (Lennie James) used a pre-2004 Walther P99 with a silver slide.
Walther PPK
An assassin uses a suppressed Walther PPK in "Rewind" (S1E02). An Air Marshal confiscates the PPK and attempts to use it on Winston. Peter Blanchard aka Raven (Alex Fernandez) uses a nickel PPK in "Embassy Row". Gerard had a Walther PPK in an ankle holster in the episode "Victoria". He then gave it to Chance, who used it for the rest of the episode.
In "Sanctuary" (S1E04), Sam Fisher (William Mapother) steals a prison guard's Beretta 92FS. In the same episode, John Gray uses a Beretta 92FS during the gondola fight. In "Run" (S1E05), renegade San Francisco Police Detectives under Wes Gibson are armed with the 92FS. SFPD officers are also seen using the 92FS in the same episode. Connor holds a suppressed 92FS on Chance and Victoria in "Victoria".
Beretta 92FS Inox
In "Rewind" (S1E02), one of Guerrero's men uses a Beretta 92FS Inox to intimidate the man who hired the assassins.
Beretta Cougar
The Beretta 8000 Cougar is Guerrero's (Jackie Earle Haley) main sidearm. One of Sam Fisher's henchman uses a Cougar to intimidate a monastery priest in "Sanctuary" (S1E04). Due to a continuity error in "Lockdown" (S1E06), Chance's P99 turns into a Beretta Cougar.
A thug under Hugh Prentiss in "Corner Man" takes aim at Chance with the FN Five-seveN USG. Hugh tries to take the pistol after thug is killed by Chance.
Glock 17
In "Pilot" (S1E01), Seattle police officers are armed with Glock 17's while responding to a hostage situation. A Federal Air Marshal in "Rewind" (S1E02) is armed with a Glock 17, detaining Chance after suspecting him of being a felon. After a brief struggle between Winston and the Marshal, a stewardess picks up the Glock 17. A security guard in "Sanctuary" (S1E04) fought against Sam Fisher's gang with a Glock 17. One of Sam Fisher's men takes a State Trooper's uniform, which includes a Glock 17. In "Run" (S1E05), SFPD officers including Wes Gibson use Glock 17's. Sentronics security guards in "Lockdown" (S1E06) are seen using Glock 17's. FBI agents throughout the series including Emma Barnes (Emmanuelle Vaugier) use the Glock 17 as their sidearm. Rogue Protection Command bodyguards in "Victoria" use them to gun down Chance and Victoria in order to prevent them from showing evidence to the Queen in incriminating Templeton to a murder attempt against the princess after infiltrating the museum.
Glock 19
Gerard uses the Glock 19 as his main sidearm in "Victoria", gunning down two rogue Protection Command bodyguards before he was shot himself.
In "Victoria", a dream sequence showed assassins planting a used M1911A1 at the hands of Tony Sorrento after shooting him with the pistol, previously silenced, to frame him for being a murderer. The former Christopher Chance (Lee Majors) uses an M1911A1 to save Chance by wounding Baptiste in "Christopher Chance" before he was killed with a hurled ombat knife in the chest.
Makarov PM
The Makarov PM is the sidearm of Russian Embassy security forces in "Embassy Row" (S1E03). Raven aka Peter Blanchard (Alex Fernandez) disarms one of the guards and uses it to gun down the Chief of Security and some of the guards with him in the embassy's security room. In one shot, the Makarov changes to the similar Walther PPK.
SIG-Sauer P226
LaVerne Winston (Chi McBride) uses a SIG-Sauer P226 as his main sidearm throughout Season 1. Frank Murphy uses a P226 during a shootout with Wes Gibson and his men.
Unknown Pistol
An unknown pistol appears in the opening credits.
Unknown Pistol 2
A stewardess conceals an unknown pistol in "Rewind" (S1E02).
Revolvers
Smith and Wesson Model 629
In the Season 1 finale 'Christopher Chance', Chance uses a hidden Smith & Wesson Model 629 revolver to take out some commandos and then levels it at Joubert.
Submachine Guns
Beretta Cx4 Storm
Beretta Cx4 Storms are used by Sentronics' "Level 2" security officers, their chief of security Leonard Kreese (Mitch Pileggi), and briefly by Chance (Mark Valley) in "Lockdown" (S1E06). The Beretta Cx4 Storm carbines used in this episode are the same Cx4s that were used in the re-imagined series of Battlestar Galactica (note the muzzle).

All of the Type 56 rifles seen in this episode are actually airsoft replicas made by Real Sword. They are replaced with the Type 84s in firing scenes for this reason.
