Bavarian Outlaw (Räuber Kneißl) is a 2008 Bavarian Heimatfilm and Crime Drama. It is the biopic about the robber and murderer Mathias Kneißl, who became a folk hero.

The following weapons were used in the film Bavarian Outlaw:
Drilling
Mathias Kneißl sen. (Michael Fitz) buys a Drilling. Mathias Kneißl carries the Drilling, after he has been released from jail.
Gewehr 1888
Most Bavarian policemen carry the Gewehr 1888 throughout the movie. Gendarm Förtsch (Thomas Schmauser) carries the Gewehr 1888 in the beginning.
Mauser Gewehr 1898
Some of the Bavarian policemen carry the Mauser Gewehr 1898. The use is anachronistic because it is seen in scenes that are set in 1893. Gendarm Förtsch (Thomas Schmauser) carries the Gewehr 98 later in the movie.
