Casa de mi Padre is a 2012 American Spanish-language comedy directed by Matt Piedmont starring Will Ferrell, Gael García Bernal, Diego Luna, Genesis Rodriguez, and in one of his last films, Pedro Armendáriz Jr. Filmed almost entirely in Spanish, the film is a spoof/homage/pastiche of Mexican telenovelas with the added wrinkle of the lead actor not actually being fluent in Spanish.
