Mr. Majestyk was a 1974 action-vehicle for Charles Bronson that was directed by Richard Fleischer (Soylent Green) and written by Elmore Leonard (Last Stand at Saber River, Jackie Brown) who based the screenplay on his own novel.
The following weapons were used in the film Mr. Majestyk:
Winchester Model 1200 Ranger
Vince Majestyk (Charles Bronson) is threatened by Bobby Kopas (Paul Koslo) with a ribbed-barrel Winchester Model 1200 shotgun during an early scene of the film, though Majestyk quickly takes it from him and fires at a speaker fitted to Kopas' truck, Majestyk then places the shotgun in the trunk of Kopas' car. Later Majestyk has his own Winchester Model 1200 Ranger on a gun rack in his home, the shotgun lacks the ribbed barrel of the one used earlier but could be the same gun with the barrel switched by the film's weapon master. At one point, he gives the shotgun to Nancy Chavez (Linda Cristal) and asks her if she knows how to use it, to which she naively replies "...just point and pull the trigger, right?". During the film's finale Majestyk uses this shotgun to take down Frank Renda (Al Lettieri) and his henchmen.
Colt Python
During Frank Renda's (Al Lettieri) breakout, both several mobsters and police use 4" Colt Pythons. Wiley (Lee Purcell) has a Python in her car, which Renda takes and uses for the rest of the film. His right-hand man Gene Lundy (Taylor Lacher) also keeps a Python.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
Both mobsters and police during Renda's breakout also make extensive use of Smith & Wesson Model 10s.
Ithaca 37
One of the local jail guards holds an Ithaca 37; one of Renda's gangsters also uses one to fire at police during his breakout.
Smith & Wesson M76
To send Majestyk a message Renda's has some of his mobsters shoot up Majestyk's watermelons using Smith & Wesson M76s.
Bolt-Action Rifle
During the final gunfight, Majestyk briefly uses a Bolt-Action Rifle of unknown make or model to fire at Renda. He then drops it in favor of a more "hands on" approach switching back to his Winchester Model 1200 Ranger.
Smith & Wesson Model 27
While searching Majestyk's melon farm, Renda's Colt Python briefly changes to a Smith & Wesson Model 27.
Smith & Wesson Model 15
While outside Majestyk's home, Lundy loads a Smith & Wesson Model 15.
