Angel Beats! (エンジェルビーツ! Enjeru Bītsu!?) is a 13-episode Japanese anime television series produced by P.A. Works and Aniplex and directed by Seiji Kishi. The story was originally conceived by Jun Maeda, who also wrote the screenplay and composed the music with the group Anant-Garde Eyes, with original character design by Na-Ga; both Maeda and Na-Ga are from the visual novel brand Key, who produced such titles as Kanon, Air, and Clannad. The anime aired in Japan between April 3 and June 26, 2010. An original video animation episode was released on December 22, 2010. The story takes place in the afterlife and focuses on Otonashi, a boy who lost his memories of his life after dying. He is enrolled into the afterlife school and meets a girl named Yuri who invites him to join the Battlefront—an organization she leads which fights against God. The Battlefront fight against the student council president Angel, a girl with supernatural powers.
The following firearms were seen in the anime television series Angel Beats!:
Note: An interesting fact in Angel Beats! is that any weapon can be made in the Afterlife World using only dirt, as long as the creator remembers the image and specs of the weapon he/she is trying to create.
Handguns
Beretta 92FS Brigadier Inox
Yuri (AKA "Yurippe") uses a Beretta 92FS Brigadier Inox as her main weapon of choice. She actually has two of these handguns and at one point she dual wields both of them.
Glock 17
Otonashi Yudzuru uses a Glock 17s (2nd or 3rd Gen.) as a primary weapon. It first was given to him by Yuri. Unfamiliar with firearms, Otonashi nonetheless trains with the Glock until he becomes a proficient shooter.
Stechkin APS
Noda prefers to fight with his halberd, but at one point he is forced to use a Stechkin APS gun against Angel.
L.A.R. Grizzly
The amazing English speaking TK occasionally uses an L.A.R. Grizzly (calibre unknown)
Browning Hi-Power
TK's other handgun of choice is a Browning Hi-Power. He dual wields it along with the L.A.R. Grizzly.
Desert Eagle
Takamatsu carries a Desert Eagle. However, it is not quite noticeable in the anime.
Smith & Wesson 645
Hinata carries a Smith & Wesson 645. He is quite familiar with the gun and is a good shot.
P226
Ooyama's signature sidearm. His preferred primary weapon is actually a sniper rifle, but he uses his pistol for close-range fighting.
H&K P7
An Heckler & Koch P7 serves as Matsushita's little sidearm during the SSS journey to the ruins of the Guild.
Ooyama's primary weapon of choice is a Remington M700. He serves as the main sniper of the SSS.
H&K PSG-1
Takamatsu at one point uses a H&K PSG-1 sniper rifle.
M14 DMR
Hinata is armed with a M14 DMR rifle when both he and Otonashi serve as lookouts as they scan for their enemy, student council president Angel.
Galil Sniper Rifle
While serving as a lookout along with Hinata, Otonashi is equipped with a Galil Sniper Rifle.
M-200 Intervention
Yuri uses a CheyTac M200 during the first episode when she snipes her nemesis, Angel. Being new to the Afterlife world Otonashi asks if the gun Yuri uses is real. He also discourages Yuri from firing at Angel.
Rocket Launcher
AT4
Being the heavy weapons guy of the team, Matsushita use an AT4 against Tachibana Kanade (Tenshi), to little avail.
