L.A. Takedown is a 1989 television crime film written and directed by Michael Mann that was intended to be a pilot for a weekly television series. Instead, Mann would later remake this film as 1995's Heat.

SIG-Sauer P226
Det. Vincent Hanna (Scott Plank) uses a nickel-plated SIG-Sauer P226 as his sidearm throughout the movie.
Smith & Wesson 659
A Smith & Wesson 659 appears to be the handgun carried by Patrick McLaren (Alex McArthur).
M1911A1 (Stainless)
A stainless M1911A1 is used by Waingro during the opening armored car heist.
Shotguns
Franchi SPAS 15
Det. Bobby Schwartz (Daniel Baldwin) uses a Franchi SPAS-15 during the Wilshire Blvd. shootout. Det. Vincent Hanna (Scott Plank) later uses it.
Mossberg 590
The Mossberg 590 shotgun is used by Chris Sheherlis as well as LAPD detectives in the film.
Benelli M1 Super 90
LAPD Detectives are seen armed with Benelli M1 Super 90 shotguns during the hotel confrontation.
Remington 870 Field Gun
Waingro (Xander Berkeley) uses a Remington 870 Field Shotgun with a sawed off barrel when confronted in his hotel room.
