Seven Psychopaths is a 2012 black comedy written and directed by Martin McDonagh (In Bruges). Marty Faranan (Colin Farrell), an alcoholic screenwriter, struggles to write his latest screenplay, Seven Psychopaths. His best friend Billy Bickle (Sam Rockwell) is an out-of-work actor who, along with Hans Kieslowski (Christopher Walken), kidnaps dogs and then returns them to their owners for the reward money. Marty becomes entangled in their scheme after the two abduct a ruthless gangster's (Woody Harrelson) beloved Shih Tzu, forcing them to go into hiding.

The Smith & Wesson Model 15 is seen in the hands of a young Zachariah Rigby (Brendan Sexton III). The perpetrator of the Texarkana Moonlight Murders (infamously known as the Phantom Killer) carries a Model 15. The older Zachariah (Tom Waits) fires it during the graveyard shootout.
Charlie Costello (Woody Harrelson) carries a Remington 870 shotgun. It is a Police Magnum Riot with wooden furniture. One of the thug's in the graveyard shootout carries a sawed off 870.
An M16 variant can be seen used by US soldiers in the Vietnam War.
