M16A2
At the beginning of the film, a Marine has an M16A2 slung while guarding the fenceline near the Guantanamo base. Marines during training also carry their M16A2 rifles without magazines loaded.
M1903 Springfield
The Marine Silent Drill Platoon seen in Washington, D.C. during the opening credits use M1903 Springfield rifles with bayonets. Because the production did not receive support from the USMC, the platoon seen in the film is actually a drill team from Texas A&M (as the actual USMC Silent Drill Platoon uses the M1 Garand).
M16A2 with M203 grenade launcher
Several Marines in Guantanamo are seen with M16A2 rifles with M203 grenade launchers as Lt. Kendrick (Kiefer Sutherland) drives LTJG Daniel Kaffee (Tom Cruise), LCDR JoAnne Galloway (Demi Moore), and LTJG Sam Weinberg (Kevin Pollak).
Beretta 92SB
Lt. Col. Matthew Markinson (J.T. Walsh) is seen pulling a Beretta 92SB with a nickel finish, erroneously referred to as a "nickel-plated .45 caliber pistol" by Kaffee in court.
