Guardian Angel (original title: Schutzengel) is a 2012 German action movie about ex-special forces operative Max (Til Schweiger) who now works for the witness-protection program of the Berlin police.
The following weapons were used in the film Guardian Angel (Schutzengel):
Pistols
Glock 26
Max (Til Schweiger) carries a Glock 26. He does not carry it in a holster, but rather on the inside of his belt with a metal clip fixed on the right side of the slide.
Heckler & Koch P30
Max's other pistol is a Heckler & Koch P30. Unlike the Glock 26 that he keeps on his belt, the Heckler & Koch P30 is kept in a backpack with some magazines.
SIG-Sauer P6
All police officers are armed with the SIG-Sauer P6, distinguishable from the regular SIG-Sauer P225 by the flat disassembly lever.
Vektor SP1
Several hitmen in the opening shootout are armed with the Vektor SP1.
Caracal F
In what seems to be the first movie appearance of this pistol, the Caracal F is used by Max’s ex-special forces buddy Rudi (Moritz Bleibtrue.
Walther P99QA
The hitmen's leader (Aleksandar Jovanovic) draws a Walther P99QA when he interrogates Rudi.
Heckler & Koch USP
Corrupt arms dealer Thomas Backer (Heiner Lauterbach) pulls a Heckler & Koch USP in his hotel room.
Glock 17
During the opening shootout, one of the hitmen carries a 2nd Generation Glock 17.
Airsoft Glock 17
Rudi trains Nina to shoot with an airsoft Glock 17.
Beretta Px4 Storm
A hitman (Mickey Hardt) uses a Beretta Px4 Storm during the farmhouse shootout.
Smith & Wesson Model 642
The security chief to arms dealer Thomas Backer, Nicholas (Tim Wilde), covertly carries a Smith & Wesson Model 642 in an ankle holster.
Submachineguns
Brügger & Thomet MP9
Several hitmen carry the Brügger & Thomet MP9, in one case equipped with a B&T MP9 QD suppressor. True to it’s covert carry nature, it is seen pulled from underneath a coat in one scene.
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
A SWAT officer raiding Max’s house carries a Heckler & Koch MP5A2 with an M4-style stock and a Surefire 628 forend weaponlight
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
Another SWAT team member carries a Heckler & Koch MP5A3 with the integrated Surefire 628 forend weaponlight.

Heckler & Koch MP5KA1
Several hitmen searching for Max and Nina at the hospital carry Heckler & Koch MP5KA1’s, the covert carry variant with low profile sights.
Shotguns
Mossberg 500
At one point during the farmhouse shootout, Max pulls a Mossberg 500 from Rudi’s weapons cache and uses it to fight off attackers at close range. The shotgun has a synthetic stock and is equipped with rifle sights.
Assault Rifles
Luvo LA-16
Max uses a Luvo LA-16 with a 10.5" barrel from his friend Rudi’s weapons cache. The weapon can be identified by the typical ring enclosing the back of the hand guard. The front sight has somehow been put on backwards and an EOTech sight has been fitted
AK-47
During the attack on the farmhouse, several assailants use modernized AK-47s equipped with M4-style collapsible stocks, AKM-style flash hiders and what appears to be a synthetic Command Arms quad rail handguard.
AKM
In several scenes, AKM’s are seen used. Here again, they are modernized versions with M4 collapsible stock and what appears to be a synthetic Command Arms quad rail handguard.
Arsenal AR-1F
One of the farmhouse hitmen carries a Arsenal AR-1F, identifiable by the long flash hider. It also seems to have a 40-round magazine.
Zastava M70AB2
Another attacker is armed with a Zastava M70AB2 fitted with a modern synthetic hand guard.
Norinco Type 56-1
One of the hitmen uses a Norinco Type 56-1, a rare sight in European fims.
Machine guns
FM MAG 58
As mercenaries descend upon the farmhouse where Max and Nina are hiding, one of them carries a FN MAG 58. The version he is carrying has a large perforated heatshield, possibly to make the gun look like the M240 variant.
Miscellaneous
Outdoor Gun Training
The extra’s section of the DVD shows two short gun-related movies. The first one is about the gun training that Til Schweiger took in the USA in preparation for this movie. Under the supervision of a professional shooting instructor he fired thousands of rounds, predominantly with assault rifles.
Indoor Shooting Training
The second short movie concerns a report of an indoor gun training for the crew, all using SIG-Sauer P6’s. Due to the somewhat relaxed atmosphere, they appear to be using either blank cartridges or some kind of airsoft cartridges.
