Flashpoint is a 1984 thriller movie directed by William Tannen. Two Texas border guards find a car buried in the desert, with human remains, a sniper rifle and a large amount of cash. Their finding appears to be linked with the mystery of JFK assassination.

Bobby Logan's (Kris Kristofferson) personal weapon is a Smith & Wesson Model 28 revolver with 4" barrel. Ernie Wyatt (Treat Williams) also used Model 28, but with different grip.
Colt Official Police
Colt Official Police revolvers with 4" barrels are used by FBI agents.
Various revolvers
Various revolvers are carried by Border Patrol agents and police officers. They are seen only in holsters.
Pistols
M1911
A nickel plated M1911-style pistol is a personal weapon of FBI Agent Carson (Kurtwood Smith). It looks like the pistol lacks the grip safety, so it can be original M1911, but the hammer spur matches later models.
Heckler & Koch VP70Z
Agent Peterson (Terry Alexander) uses a suppressed Heckler & Koch VP70Z in the night scene.

Double Barreled Shotgun
Amarillo (Roberts Blossom), the old hermit, is seen with a double barreled shotgun in several scenes.
