- This revolver is most certainly not a S&W Model 29 - The gun seems a bit big, but it certainly doesn't seem quite big enough for an L-frame Smith. Moreso, the revolver shown in the last picture clearly has a Colt cylinder release and hammer. Also has a faint mark on the frame that looks as though it could be the 'Prancing Pony' - Isn't it more likely a 6" MkIII Trooper?
