In the newest urban environment walkthrough showcase, game developers have shown that one of the early missions is set in Sarajevo during the siege, pitting the player against JNA soldiers. Somewhere at 2:48 in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7eYdLSozRpo you can see a JNA sniper perched on the rooftop sporting a rifle, which to my best judgement (considering the proportions of the magazine and the general shape) seem to be none other, but the MSR. ''In 1993 no less''. Am I the only one who thinks that's simply ''hilariously'' out of place? Given the setting a much better choice would be an SVD (to serve as a stand in for our own local M91 variant) or the M76 DMR, but again I'm not nowhere as nearly as clever as game developers so what do I know. --[[User:BeloglaviSup|BeloglaviSup]] 13:20, 27 April 2012 (CDT) | In the newest urban environment walkthrough showcase, game developers have shown that one of the early missions is set in Sarajevo during the siege, pitting the player against JNA soldiers. :Yes, it was an MSR. In 1993. Happens if game developers use other video games as a source of information. - [[User:Bozitojugg3rn4ut|bozitojugg3rn4ut]] 15:24, 28 April 2012 (CDT) | :Yes, it was an MSR. In 1993. plus the devs said a barrett XM500 is confirmed to be in the game via facebook.
happy to help and the name is officially Sniper 2: Ghost Warrior.
- According to IGN and the developer, the name is Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2. --Funkychinaman 22:23, 25 March 2012 (CDT)
Oh well i've seen that name being confirmed in various interviews with the devs but they havent changed it on the site. The new guns look to be m40s/reminton 700s style weapons adna customised (two toned?) 1911 type pistol. someone double check for me. --Quaney Owns U 01:19, 26 March 2012 (CDT)
Looks like the 1911 could be a MEU or Kimber Variant by the grips, hammer and ambidextrous safeties. --BrokenBullet 08:10, 1 April 2012 (CDT)
Ive also found an FN FAL and a mounted machine gun possibly an M240????? aaaand obviously the Desert Eagle. Alos a silenced Sig-Sauer P220 with a two toned finish. --Quaney Owns U 12:36, 1 April 2012 (CDT)
unknown rifle
some sort of FAL maybe? --bozitojugg3rn4ut 10:21, 13 April 2012 (CDT)
- INSAS? --Funkychinaman 11:07, 13 April 2012 (CDT)
- Yes. Thank you. --bozitojugg3rn4ut 11:58, 13 April 2012 (CDT)
MSR or an entirely new rifle? (Possible minor spoilers ahead)
