Black Dog is a 1998 action film directed by Kevin Hooks (Passenger 57 ) starring Patrick Swayze , Randy Travis , Meat Loaf , and Charles S. Dutton . Swayze is Jack Crews, an ex-con who's tricked into running a trailer full of guns from Georgia to New Jersey.
