This is definitely not a Smith & Wesson Model 36. In the below image you can clearly see that is has a 6-shot cylinder, and watching the film, it appears to have an unprotected guide rod. A detective special perhaps? Can someone help fix this? I'm not a revolver guy.
Why is it a Colt Commander? Looks a lot like a standard 5" to me. --Lastgunslinger 21:28, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
- It has the round Commander hammer and if you look closely at the front slide bevel, it is Commander length. It also seems there is a difference in the finish between the frame and the slide, which may mean it is a lightweight Commander.
- The second pic on the page looks like a 5" 1911, but the third looks like a Commander. That's probably just me. --Predator20 16:10, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
