The following weapons were used in the film Yesterday's Enemy:
Enfield No.2
British officers armed with the Enfield No.2 revolvers
Nambu Type 14
Imperial Japanese officers use the Nambu Type 14 pistols
M1928A1 Thompson
British officers and sergeants use the M1928A1 Thompson submachine guns with 20 rounds magazines. Some Japanese soldiers also use captured Thompson submachine guns
MP40
Some Japanese use the MP40 submachine guns. It's not historically correct. These submachine guns weren't used by the Japanese army
Sten Mk II
During first shootout in Burmese village a Sten Mk II can be seen used by Japanese soldiers
Lee-Enfield No.1 MkIII Rifle
Lee-Enfield No.1 MkIII Rifles are the mainstay weapon of the British soldiers
Arisaka Type 38
The Imperial Japanese soldiers use the Arisaka Type 38 rifles
Bren gun
The Bren guns are used by British soldiers
Chatellerault FM 24/29
The Imperial Japanese soldiers use the Chatellerault M1924/29 light machine guns. Actually these machine guns weren't used by the Japanese army and probably it's just an attempt to represent these machine guns as Type 96 Light Machine Guns
