Half way along the handguard part is a circular button, and this is the trigger which is pressed with the thumb of the left hand. In front of the trigger is a safety catch, not sure but I think this is in the safe position, and is slid forwards towards the muzzle to disengage it. Here is a picture of the left side of the launcher:
At the front of the handguard part of the launcher is the catch that unlocks the breech much like on an M203. Half way along the handguard part is a circular button, and this is the trigger which is pressed with the thumb of the left hand.
