:Yessss, that's the one. Thanks a lot mate, I lost sleep over this one but now the pieces all fit together. I had a gun in my mind with a somewhat 'Beretta style' slide, wooden grips and pronounced front sight, and the Benelli B76 Sport fits the bill. I watched the scene again and I did notice the typical sloped trigger guard making the id conclusive.
