China Moon is a neo-noir crime thriller in 1994 directed by John Bailey on a stroy by Roy Carlson. The police detective Kyle Bodin (Ed Harris) one evening meets in a bar with a lovely Rachel Munro (Madeleine Stowe), which he admits to a dramatic marriage with rich banker, who has a mistress, and then also her intention to kill husband. Bodin is well aware of the danger, but yet gets involved in a love triangle. When is Rachel's husband shot during an argument, it becomes an accomplice, when the evidence starts to destroy and conceal the body of a corpse. The two detectives who work on the case found that the bullet in the victim's body agrees with a bullet from a Bodin´s revolver. And he begins to realize, that someone had sew a trap. The suspicion leads to his partner Lamar Dickey (Benicio del Toro), but also to Rachel.
