The following firearms were used in the film Hollywoodland:
Luger P08
George Reeves (Ben Affleck) is shown killing himself with a Luger P08 given to him by Toni Mannix (Diane Lane). The Luger is described by Simo's son as a "Nazi pistol". In alternate scenarios, Reeves' fiancee Leonore Lemmon (Robin Tunney) shoots him with it accidentally while struggling with him. In another scenario, a hitman hired by Eddie Mannix (Bob Hoskins) uses Reeves' Luger to kill him.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
A Smith & Wesson Model 10 is seen firing in the opening credits for Reeves' show Superman when the announcer says "faster than a speeding bullet". One of the "bank robbers" during the public show has a replica Model 10 model that Reeves (as Superman) bends.
double-barreled shotgun
One of the "bank robbers" in the public show uses a double-barreled shotgun, which Reeves (as Superman) also bends, this time around the "bank robber"'s body.
Smith & Wesson Model 36
After the public show in which "Superman" stops the bank robbers, a young child named Kenneth Giles (Jason Spevack) approaches Reeves with a nickel Smith & Wesson Model 36 and naively asks if he can shoot him with it to see the bullet bounce off.
Colt Detective Special
Louis Simo (Adrien Brody) pulls a first-generation Colt Detective Special from the shoulder holster of an LAPD detective outside the diner.
